He's 6!

Happy birthday to our Pirate Dylan! He calls himself Captain Skunkbeard. I think it's from a Scooby Doo episode.

'Tis the Season

We did it again this year and got another fronkin' tree. This year we think our tree is actually a little taller. With the star on top, it's about one foot away from touching our 18 foot-tall ceiling.  Dale actually layed the tree down on the floor to put lights on it this year. It worked pretty well. I don't think we'll get anything on it besides the lights, though. I'm not that ambitious. Maybe someday.

Orlando

Last week Dale had a convention in Florida and his company is cool enough to pay for me to go along, too. It was so fun. The boys stayed home and Dale's brother and his wife stayed with them. They were so much help. Natalie did great on the plane. I was worried about the four-hour flight, but she was awesome. The weather was wondrous there, too. Even with the hurricane coming through, it was in the 70s and 80s and it kicked major booty. I could definitely stay there. Too bad we had to come home to snow. That made it harder.

Dale had one free day before his convention started so we spent the day at Universal Studios and Island of Adventure (I think that's what it was called). We traveled with another couple and had a lot of fun.

The day we left we had a few hours to spare, so we went to see the Orlando Temple and see the area a little more.

Yeah, our baby is cute.

Gratuitous Natalie

No Surprise

I guess it wouldn't be a post on our blog if we didn't have pictures of the most recent trip to Disneyland. We go there a lot. Try not to be jealous. This time just Dale and the boys went and Natalie and I spent a few days of peace and quiet. Dale's family decided to go for trick-or-treating at Disneyland and I thought it would be awesome if the boys could go, too. Next year Natalie and I want in on the fun, too!

He's FOUR

Dawson turned four on October 10th. Because it was only 10 days after having the baby, we decided to get a blow-up slide for the party so we wouldn't have to think of a bunch of fun games and jazz for the kids to play. It was a no-brainer. We served pizza and cake and the kids had a blast.
