*Father and Sons Camp Out*

have some chicken!

coming home

Dawson would swing all day if we let him

teeter totter

don't mind the dirt boogers, please.

This past weekend was our ward's fathers and sons outting. The boys had a BLAST! They like anything that involves dirt, really. I (Missy) thought it would be pretty cool to have a few hours of freedom, but after a couple of hours it was just too quiet around the house and I was very very ready to see my boys again!

*GRASS*

After a month and a half of waiting, our grass FINALLY came yesterday! YAY! We're still waiting for the backyard grass to come, but it's a start. Maybe my house won't be such a mud and dust trap anymore. Here's hoping!

*"fighter fighter" breakfast*

Last weekend was the annual breakfast given by the Fire Fighters (or fighter fighters as my boys would say). I don't think there is anything much cooler to Dylan and Dawson than hanging out at the fire station.

*The yummiest salad EVER*

Here's a yummy recipe I got from the blog of Ross the Intern from the Tonight Show. It was delicious and very good for the pooper! You should try it! If you want the recipe let me know.

*More of Dawson's sense of style

Yes, that would be a pull-up on his head. He thought it should be a hat and tried very hard to convince me to wear one to church with him.

*fishing*

For Mother's Day weekend, my Aunt Shelly and cousin Aaliyah came out from Layton to visit. We spent the day fishing . The weather was wondrous. The boys had a great time. It was Dylan's first time fishing and he was so excited because we got him his very own Spiderman fishing pole. It was interesting teaching Dylan how to cast the line out without taking our eyes out; and being the "big boy" that he is, he wouldn't let us help AT ALL. Fun stuff.

* I spoke too soon*

So just yesterday I was chatting with my sister and telling her how I was a little miffed because Dylan just peed in the garage. Then Miranda said it could be worse, referring to when Dylan used to poop all over the house and run his trucks through it. I agreed and then started saying how it's been so much nicer with Dawson because he had never done that. Well, I spoke too soon. Guess what I found on my brand new carpet today? Yup.
